No. I don鈥檛 wear the my watch in the shower unless I鈥檓 washing the band. Not out of concern for the GShock, just personal preference. If you鈥檙e worried about the gasket change it out when you swap the battery (assuming your model isn鈥檛 solar). Have never had an issue with any g-shock in the shower.

I have a MTG B1000RB (20th MTG anniversary) that I got for about 3 years. It has stopped moving, I guess due to battery (but it鈥檚 solar powered), and the weird thing is it鈥檚 pointing to 12 noon/midnight, even the seconds hand. The seconds hand actually goes back to 59/58/57 once in a while then goes back to 12.
